About Haddenham Osteopathic Clinic

Established in 2003 and now managed by osteopath Sarah Kitchiner, Haddenham Osteopathic Clinic now has a staff of four qualified  osteopathic practitioners.

Sarah Kitchiner : BSc (Hons) Ost Med ND HND

Sarah Kitchiner. Haddenham Osteopathic ClinicSarah has been working in osteopathy since graduating with an Honours degree from BCOM, the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005.

Since graduating Sarah has gained a wealth of experience working in various osteopathic practices in Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire. This included working with GP’s in a large multi-disciplinary practice and with a five-star hotel in London. Alongside the Haddenham Clinic Sarah also runs the Three Valleys Osteopathic Clinic in Sarratt, Hertfordshire.

Sarah’s approach to osteopathy incorporates musculo-skeletal and naturopathic elements, emphasising the role of nutrition, diet, lifestyle and exercise for patients. Other elements of her training have included visceral osteopathy and a foundation in cranial osteopathy.

Outside  of osteopathy, Sarah has a young family and is a keen horse rider that has trained and competed in three day eventing and been involved in the past of the British Three Day Eventing Team in the European Championships in Poland, Italy, Germany and France. She also has her own HGV!

Note  - As of January 2012 Sarah will be on maternity leave - Eva however will be joining the clinic

Louise Barrett : BSC (Hons) Ost Med NDLouise Barrett

Louise qualified from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2006 with an Honours degree and since then has worked in clinics across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Louise first became aware of osteopathy after a horse riding accident  when she was younger which left her with back pain and she found that osteopathy was the only form of treatment that relieved the pain and helped her recovery.

Louise joined the Haddenham Osteopathic Clinic team in 2007, and fitted in very easily, establishing a loyal following of patients. She treats using various techniques, and approaches treatments using both structural and cranial osteopathy. She feels this helps her in being able to treat all members of a family from children to adults.

Louise continues to be a keen sportswoman and is a member of the Amersham and Chalfont Hockey Club, enjoys running and is a regular supporter of Saracens rugby team, although she has split loyalty as she is presently treating the Wasps ladies rugby team !
